THE APPEAL
Launched in 1979 as the latest evolution of the original Transporter, the larger and more spacious Volkswagen T3, with squared lines and mechanics derived from the Volkswagen Golf and Volkswagen Passat, shares many of the peculiarities of its glorious ancestor, the legendary Bulli, with a rear engine and an extremely advanced driving position, and is therefore particularly loved by Volkswagen enthusiasts, as it allows to enjoy the ultimate true driving experience of an old-school VW van enhanced by better performing engines and an higher level of comfort.
This T3, with its attractive two-tone bodywork in good condition, is equipped with practical and versatile interior fittings, with folding and removable seats that can be positioned in various ways, choosing the classic nine-seater minibus configuration, arranging them in a cozy L-shaped sitting area with a central table or removing them completely to obtain a large cargo area.
The frugal diesel engine was overhauled in 2022 and the car has only been driven for 2000 km since. Before putting it on sale, all the filters were changed and new tyres were fitted.
