By the mid-1990s the once controversial Jaguar XJS had proven its worth. The superb British Grand Tourer had been on sale since 1975, providing opulent, stately enjoyment with a choice of engines and an array of body styles. After two decades the call was made to retire the model, Jaguar longest longest-running model had defined its legacy and what better way to celebrate the monumental car plus the Jaguar turning 60 than a special edition labelled the ‘Celebration’.
Equipped with the most desirable and reliable engine, the 4.0L straight-6 plus a selection of high-quality hides, a stately but modernised dash, a wooden trimmed steering wheel, plus diamond-turned alloy wheels, the Celebration model displays the usual XJS sweeping aesthetics with the smallest unique additions, with we think makes it one of the most attractive variants available.
With only 72,825 miles, three previous owners and an excellent history file, this example presents well but honestly, with a few age-related marks present. It has been cared for extensively over the years, with numerous invoices and receipts present alongside its original service portfolio and handbook.
With only 4,000 Celebration models produced, this is a fantastic opportunity to purchase a well-maintained and loved car that could be refined to a show stopper.

SUMMARY
An attractive example of Jaguar's longest-running model and 1 of 4000 Celebration models. This car has benefited from extensive care over the years with the invoices to back it up. An iconic car, in a wonderful colour combination that has been kept original.
Highly usable in the modern world thanks to its excellent 4.0L straight-6, this end-of-the-line XJS is a great car for an enthusiast to use straight away or give it that little extra attention for perfection to be obtained.
