The Appeal
The E30 325i Sport Evolution II is among the rarest and most focused expressions of BMW's celebrated third-generation 3 Series. Built in 1989 as a limited-run homologation special for touring car competition, it received an uprated suspension, an aggressive body kit, a closer-ratio gearbox, and a subtly enhanced version of the 2.5-litre M20 straight-six: the same rev-hungry, beautifully balanced unit that made the standard 325i such a driver's car. Just 500 right-hand-drive examples were produced for the UK market. Unmodified survivors are increasingly scarce, and values have moved decisively upward as collector appetite for the finest E30 variants continues to grow.
This car replicates that rare South-African spec model to a very high standard. You would be hard-pressed to realise it isn't the genuine article; this isn't just some rebadged 3 Series. It comes with advisory-free MOT until 16th November 2026 and looks to be in very good condition throughout.image.png3.54 MB

✓ We want a smooth transaction just as much as you do and as such we run all UK-registered cars and motorbikes for sale on Car & Classic through an online HPI check to verify that they show no insurance database markers for damage or theft, and have no finance owing, allowing you to bid with confidence.
✓ We also check whether vehicles are recorded as being written off as part of an insurance total loss claim at the time an advert is placed and we helpfully provide write-off category labels (Cat C/D/S/N) for your assistance, the presence or absence of a label does not guarantee the vehicle’s status and it's always worthwhile carrying out your own full vehicle history check before making an offer.
