Beautiful Triumph Thunderbird from 1955. Matching numbers.
Older, correct restoration in the original Polychromatic blue with gold pinstripe on mudguards and rims.
Paint is good. Chrome is good. One rim has a tiny “flake” in the chrome otherwise very nice chrome. The Thunderbird is in a very nice condition all over.
1955 is the first year with the new swing arm frame.
Very smooth running engine with plenty of power for modern roads. Fitted with Lucas distributor and Amal Concentric. carb for ease of starting and better running. Automatic advance and retard.
Long term ownership. Currently registered for the road.
