This is an honest part-project classic that starts, runs and drives well and is being offered as an affordable entry into classic MG ownership.
Mechanically, the car is in good order and has recently benefitted from a new clutch, while the desirable manual gearbox features overdrive for more relaxed cruising.
The interior presents very well, featuring brand-new seats and attractive red contrasting carpets. The car is also fitted with a sliding sunroof and comes complete with two sets of keys.
Importantly, the underside is solid. The floors are in good condition, the vehicle does not require welding, and while there is some age-related surface corrosion on suspension and running gear components, the underside represents an honest and structurally sound example.
The black paintwork is presentable overall but would benefit from cosmetic attention, particularly to the bonnet. As such, this MG B GT is being sold as a rolling restoration that can be enjoyed immediately while improvements are carried out over time.
