If you are looking for a nice MGB for under £10, 000, then this could be the one for you. According to the Heritage Certificate in the file, the car was built between 28th December 1972 and 5th January 1973, then despatched on 10th January to Caffyns Ltd of Canterbury, before being first registered on 1st February 1973. Finished in the ever-popular shade of Damask Red, which is nice and shiny, it is complemented by its black interior, still to the original specification, with very good chrome wire wheels (well-treaded, matching tyres all round) and Webasto sunroof. There is a good history file with this car, which includes current MOT certificate to 27th July 2027, lots of old MOT certificates and invoices detailing the history of the car very well. The detailed resume of service and repair work confirms that the car has been restored three times, most recently between 2013 and 2016, which included restoration of the bodywork and a full respray. The mechanical parts of the car have been overhauled as necessary and well maintained throughout its life, with many updates along the way. The car is therefore in very good condition with strong bodywork, a nice clean interior, very presentable under-bonnet and boot areas, and the underside is structurally sound, and clean and tidy.
