This very smart MG Midget was first registered in August 1970, and according to the registration document has had only six previous owners, the current lady owner having had the had car for some 45 years. The car was a daily user until 1983, when it was put into dry storage. A full restoration was then undertaken between 1998 and 2000, including refurbishment and respray of the body shell, engine rebuild, (including unleaded head), together with a new clutch. All new suspension, brakes and cooling system were fitted, along with a stainless steel exhaust. The upholstery and hood were renewed/ renovated. The car was then used regularly again until 2007, when once again, it went into storage. It has now emerged from this spell of storage, and has been fully recommissioned by the current owner, including an overhaul of the braking system, and has a new MOT certificate to July 2027. The car remains in good condition with nice paintwork, very tidy interior, and the underside is structurally good. The wheels have been repainted and new tyres have recently been fitted all round. Driving this car is great fun, with sprightly performance, light steering, easy gearbox and typical Midget go-kart-like handling! Comes with V5C, current MOT certificate, old MOT certificates, old invoices, and workshop manual.
