This car has been prepared for and run in this years HSCC 70's Roadsports series. It is the subject of around £200, 000 of investment. Originally a German delivered vehicle The car was imported from Switzerland and then intrusted to well known specialists Tuthills where it received a £ 72, 000 engine rebuild and an £ 18, 000 gearbox rebuild incorporating a 904 mainshaft with custom ratios and limited slip differential. The engine cases bear 1968 'S'numbers and PMO carburettors{could be exchanged for original Weber 40 IDA} are fitted together with a bespoke stainless exhaust system. The entire suspension system has been professionally calculated and installed, utilising custom valved adjustable Koni dampers with adjustable spring platforms. Brake calipers , front 'SC'type and rear 'GT'are rebuilt. It will come on its original 14'' Fuchs with new Avons but other wheels are available. A Safety Devises bolt in cage is fitted together with current plumbed in extinguisher and belts. The original seats and trim are included. The car is eligible for HSCC Historic Roadsports, 70's Roadsports, CSCC Swinging 60's . It would make an ideal candidate for conversion to FIA 'GT'spec
