Toyota Crown Estate 1965
A rare treat now available.
There are not many of these estate models with round back lights in Finland. Probably the only one on the register?
Totally gone through in 2014. The body was lifted off the frame, the frame was sandblasted and painted.
Reupholstered at the same time.
The paint surface is in good condition and the chrome parts as well. Some chrome parts have been chromed and the bow “grill” crown mark is new.
The tires are good.
There are a lot of original parts in the trunk, some are still unused in the packages, e. g. dampers, brake parts, filters, etc.
Everything seems to be working as it should, even that tailgate opening that opens when you turn the key, so the backpack window goes down first.
Winters it is stored inside, always starts as a Toyota should.
The next inspection (MOT/ TUV) is in August 2022, ready for some summer cruising.
This was on display at the Lahti Classic Motor Show and got plenty of attention.
