We are very pleased to be able to offer this Triumph Toledo to the market with an incredible genuine 4090 miles on it from new!!
Delivered new to its first owner on the 15th August 1974, this remarkable Toledo is presented in its original condition, she has never been restored, never received any paint and is arguably without doubt the most original example on the road today.
With just two owners from new, the last owner, a local gentleman from our own village, who acquired the car in 2020, and has covered a mere 1729 miles in it, unfortunately now finds the car is not getting used so has decided to move it on and let it be enjoyed and admired by others.
Finished in Honeysuckle the original paintwork presents very well with a lovely sheen just as it left the factory some 49 years ago, there are some minor imperfections from long term storage, in fact she was quite literally wrapped in a blanket for a 10 year period, but she can only be original once so we would rather a potential future owner saw the car in her entirely original condition. The Toledo even still wears its original Goodyear radial tyres.
Upon opening the door, which notably closes with the lightest of touches, the chestnut interior can only be described in ‘as new’ condition, in fact all four doors still retain their factory protective clear vinyl coverings!
Mechanically the car runs and drives superbly, the 1296cc engine runs with a whisper quiet hum and is a pleasure to drive. Within the history file we have the original bill of sale from Bambers Liverpool along with the owner’s manual, Passport to service, Radiomobile operating manual and 2 sets of keys, we also have a handful of invoices including a recent invoice for in excess of £1000 for recommissioning the car in 2020, hence why the Toledo is fine fettle today.
Viewing is highly recommended of this unrepeatable and remarkable Toledo, in fact I am sure there won’t be another one like this and knowing it is now ready to be enjoyed by its next owner. A completely unique useable classic that is perfect for the weekend classic car meets or even just a lovely drive out, this amazing low mileage Toledo must be seen.
