The Appeal

The Humber Humberette was among the earliest production motor cars from the Humber company, one of Britain's pioneering manufacturers. Powered by a diminutive 611cc single-cylinder engine driving through a two-speed manual transmission, the Humberette represents motoring at its most elemental.

This particular example has been in the same family's care for four decades, having been acquired in 1985 as part of a private car collection housed in a museum in Sweden. It was originally sourced from an English seller and imported to Sweden in 1976. The vendor describes the vehicle as being of "excellent museum grade" condition, though it has not been started or tested mechanically, so prospective buyers should factor this into their plans.
