The Appeal
The Triumph TR5 represents one of the most sought-after British sports cars of the 1960s, with its short production run of just 13 months making it considerably rarer than its TR4 predecessor and TR6 successor. This particular 1968 example has undergone a comprehensive restoration after being acquired by the current owner in December 2020.
Originally supplied by Albert Farnell Ltd in Bradford, this TR5 benefits from a professional bare metal respray in Royal Blue, completely new upholstery, and several thoughtful upgrades, including power-assisted steering and electronic ignition. With its potent Lucas mechanical fuel injection system and a potent 150bhp from the 2,498cc straight-six engine, this TR5 is an evocative, capable car that's bound to impress the lucky new owner.
