The MG RV8 marked the return of the MG sports car after more than a decade's absence. Pairing the classic MGB silhouette with Rover's 3.9-litre V8 and a five-speed manual gearbox, it was familiar to any MG enthusiast, but it was no nostalgic cash grab. It was a new generation proper; a logical development from the marque's golden age. With production limited to around 2,000 examples, the RV8 has become an increasingly sought-after modern classic.

This 1994 example has been dry garaged and sparingly used in recent years. Originally a UK-registered car, it spent a period in Sweden from around 2010 before being reimported by the current owner in 2020, with NOVA certification in hand. A significant history file accompanies the car, along with full- and half-tonneau covers and a private registration plate.
