The GPW is one of the most recognisable military vehicles ever produced, built by Ford under licence to Willys during the Second World War; it served as the backbone of Allied reconnaissance and light transport. With its robust Go-Devil four-cylinder engine and uncompromising simplicity, the GPW remains a deeply evocative piece of both motoring and military history, and a sought-after collector's vehicle on both sides of the Atlantic.

This 1948-dated example wears its Army Green livery with honest character. Imported from the USA, where it previously resided in the dry climate of Arizona, it has been in its current UK ownership since November 2020.

Under the bonnet sits a replacement Willys 134 CID Go-Devil inline four-cylinder engine paired with a three-speed manual gearbox and transfer case for four-wheel drive.
