The Appeal
By the 1980s, the 911 had matured into a real fixture. These charismatic, rear-engined sports cars continued to provide air-cooled thrills in a way that defied the rapidly changing market outside of Stuttgart. The SC is amongst the most desirable of the 911s - the ‘Super Carrera’, was launched at the start of model year 1978 with detuned hardware that made for an altogether easier-to-handle car.
This example, the 911 SC Targa Sport, is particularly worth attention. It offers a real wind-in-the-hair experience in tandem with the Sport package's uprated suspension, front and rear spoilers, and cloth/leather sports seats. Eminently drivable, still capable of stirring the soul and loaded with that oh-so-unique 911 character.
This 1982 car presents well and comes to us in an appealing colour combination of red upon a tan checked interior. We're sure it'll prove an impressive addition to the lucky owner's fleet.image.png1.5 MB
Paperwork: Stamped original service book (to 1999), original build sheet, some old MOT certificates, photographic documentation of kidney bowl replacement on disc
