The Appeal
For Lancia rally fans, the Delta Integrale Evo 1 is the Holy Grail of homologation specials. Coinciding with the 16V HF Integrale winning the 1991 World Rally Championship, a highly modified version was unveiled at the September ‘91 Frankfurt Motor Show and became known as the ‘Evoluzione’ or ‘Evo’.
It’s the Integrale we all know and love for its blistered arches, bulging bonnet and of course, that adjustable rear spoiler. Lancia officially retired from rallying in 1991, although factory-backed privateer teams won them the 1992 Constructor’s Championship - their sixth and final consecutive win.
This 1991 Evo 1 is commendably original and in very good condition for its age. It shows just 62,356 kilometres on the six-figure odometer and is reportedly in good running order. It’s been used very sparingly for the past two years, so the vendor recommends a thorough service prior to use, although everything certainly seems in healthy order.

- The controls and switchgear present well and we understand that everything appears in good working order besides a few of the indicators on the dashboard

- The vendor reports that the engine runs well and the Lancia seems to drive a sit should with ample performance when the turbo kicks in
