BMW is a textbook case study for how the mighty have fallen. There was a time, before the days of three-foot-high kidney grilles and ADAS, when the Bavarian firm lived up to its mantra, 'The Ultimate Driving Machine'. The E38-generation 7 Series was arguably BMW's last analogue flagship, combining V8 power with elegant proportions and driving dynamics that belie its size.

Our 740i benefits from the 4.4-litre V8 and five-speed automatic transmission, offering refined performance and grand touring capability.

It was purchased from a private collector who maintained it with in-house mechanics. During current ownership, the car has been treated to extensive work with Munich Legends, BMW main dealers, and exhaust specialists. It is fitted with the rare and desirable contour seats and M Parallel wheels.
