The Appeal
The Fiat Dino Coupe is one of the most compelling products of the celebrated Ferrari-Fiat collaboration of the late 1960s. Born from an agreement to homologate a V6 engine for Formula 2, the Dino Coupé married a Ferrari-designed powerplant with coachwork penned by two of Italy's most revered designers, Marcello Gandini and Giorgetto Giugiaro, at the Bertone Style Center. The result was a refined, four-seat grand tourer with genuine sporting credentials, produced in limited numbers and now highly regarded among collectors.
This 1968 example benefits from a comprehensive bodywork respray carried out in 2023, restoring the car to its original metallic "Light Mexico Blue" finish. The interior retains its original character, while mechanically the all-aluminium V6 is reported to start easily and run correctly. In current ownership since 2018, the car comes with its original use and maintenance manual and photographic evidence of invoices spanning approximately the last decade.Fiat_Dino_V6-130.jpg172.37 KB
