The Land Rover Defender 110 Crew Cab is one of the most versatile and sought-after configurations of the iconic Defender. Perfectly oriented as a multi-purpose all-terrain crew vehicle, they're also fabulous day-to-day classics. Pairing one with a rebuilt GM 6.2-litre V8 and a six-speed automatic gearbox is a sure formula for an eminently driveable 4x4.
This example was sourced from South Africa in 2020 specifically for the steel-friendly climate. Upon arrival, it was stripped to a bare chassis and comprehensively rebuilt. The chassis was sandblasted and refinished, while the bodywork has been painted in Campovolo Grey with a white roof.
Mechanically, the build list is extensive, covering that aforementioned, fully rebuilt V8, uprated cooling, Ashcroft limited-slip differentials front and rear, upgraded braking, a 2-inch suspension lift, and rebuilt axles and steering. Inside, the seats have been re-foamed and retrimmed, sound-deadening has been fitted, and an Exmoor Trim Evander wood-rim steering wheel completes the cabin.
