The Appeal
It was an unusual idea, but definitely a very good one. Nobody expected Audi to use the boxy NSU TT as inspiration for its new coupe, but the result was one of the era’s best and most eye-catching sports cars.
Good survivors are beginning to catch the eye of enthusiasts, and with good reason. Wirth surefooted Quattro grip and proper urge from the excellent BAM engine, these are entertaining cars built when Audi was at the top of its quality game. This 190bhp 2006 TT Quattro would have been one of the last built, and its Mauritius Blue Pearl with Impulse red leather is a pleasing alternative to the more common silvers and blacks.
The car has had just five keepers in its 20 years and is in very good order. There are a few minor cosmetic points to note, but nothing that detracts from its usability. Inside, it even retains its Audi Chrus sound system beneath the ‘TT’ shroud. The stamped service book is impressive, the keepers amassing so many stamps - 18 in all - that it has run out of space. The last service was in January 2026 and the cambelt was changed in 2025 around 600 miles ago. The MOT runs to August 2026.
This is a stylish Mk1 that will undoubtedly prove entertaining.
The vendor says:
Lovely, exceptionally clean and late (one of the last) examples of a MK1 TT. Exceptional to drive, sits as the nice sweet spot between the lower powered 150hp version and the 225hp version. A really under appreciated classic.
