The Appeal
With the third generation A70 Supra, Toyota set its tanks firmly on the competition’s lawns. Available as a distinct, separate model for the first time, the Supra had its sights set on the Corvette and 928 in its sights. Bold goals.
The arrival of a 234bhp turbo made this virtually a slam dunk. The Supra was well built, well priced and highly appointed. Plus, thanks to that forced induction 3litre engine, it went well too. A combination of qualities few rivals could match.
This very tidy Supra is a timely reminder of all that. Finished in classic red, it has been restored, a process carefully recorded in an album of 30 photographs. The thick history file continues with a raft of invoices and paperwork, all indicating enthusiastic keepers.
Inside and out this great car presents very well. The Supra was always about effortless performance, making these cars perfect for road trips. This car leans into that idea with its smooth automatic gearbox.
With low mileage for the year and a long MOT to May 2026, this classic slice of 90s coupe style is ready to enjoy.
