The Standout

Only 377 lucky enthusiasts have owned an HPC, or 'High Performance Caterham'. The term 'High Performance Racing' would be more fitting, as these ultra-light 175hp rockets were seriously impressive. So much so that Caterham required certain drivers to complete a driver training course before they were allowed behind the wheel.

These cars were delivered with an already exciting spec sheet. This one, a rare left-hand drive model, has been pushed even further. The upgrades are plentiful, giving the prospective buyer one of the best-equipped and most thrilling Caterhams we have seen recently.

Its look is an added bonus: unpainted polished aluminium combined with black detailing, the famous round "7" and a stylish stripe. It's a very beautiful example of a Caterham.

It has covered only 62,700 kilometres since leaving the factory, and the history file shows regular servicing, including just before sale. The roadworthy inspection will be redone for sale and is valid until November 2028, so nothing should stop you from following your heart and bidding on one of the most exciting sports cars in the world.

Powered by the legendary Vauxhall 2.0i 16-valve C20XE engine, producing around 175hp in a car weighing close to 500kg, this HPC perfectly embodies the Caterham philosophy: extreme lightness, first-class performance and pure driving sensations.

This example stands out with a particularly well-developed specification, combining carefully selected competition equipment with a remarkable presentation.

Its De Dion rear end with limited-slip differential, adjustable Nitron dampers, AP Racing brakes and numerous mechanical upgrades make it a particularly sharp Seven.
