The Appeal

The Range Rover Classic is one of the most sought-after off-roaders to ever carry the moniker - pure, unspoilt design with a comfortable cabin and those oh-so-90s aesthetics that continue to be amongst the most iconic silhouettes in motoring. With Land Rover's well-known propensity for corrosion, it's not often to find a Classic Rangie that hasn't been subject to the orange menace - so examples from better environs are now keenly sought after.

This example stems from the Japanese market, where salt isn't used on the roads and regular maintenance is standard practice. As a result, it's in handsome order, much better than many of its domestic brethren. Sold new through Rover Japan in March 1995, this Range Rover was imported to the UK in 2015 and registered here in 2016, with just one registered keeper since. We're told its spent its time in garage storage ever since.

This car retains its original Brooklands bumpers, tan leather Soft Dash interior, Harman Kardon speakers, and adjustable air suspension. The history file includes 13 official service records spanning 1995 to 2013, with detailed mileage entries at each visit, alongside the original wallet containing the owner's manual, service book, and audio system manual.

FYI, this isn't fitted with Brooklands bumpers, they were a different style, this was a factory optional styling pack bumper

If they are not Brooklands then they are the TWR styling option together with the TWR alloys. Fitted from new.

Great looking machine! Can we have some underside photos please?

Here are some underside pictures. If you see some black crackel on the surface of the metal this is underseal which has aged. It has done a good job of protection. No mud or salt has seen the underside as you can see. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the clarification. Is the air suspension functioning properly please?

I understand that the original air pump is noisy and not operating as intended. A replacement would be advisable.

Good day, can you kindly advise why the car hasn't been MOT'ed, or at least had a test prior to sale?

Thank you for your interest. After getting the car and a little use work and kids got in the way. Car was garaged started and moved. I have made the decision to let someone else enjoy this classic. With regards to current MOT I feel the car will need a few items like brakes looking at, tyres renewed due to age so the new owner can renew MOT items to their own specification.
