The Appeal
And now for something completely different. If you like the idea of a thunderous drag racer that you can drive home after tearing up the strip, look no further.
This stealthy Camaro began life as a 1999 Z28 before being not just breathed on but comprehensively transformed by John Webster of the renowned Webster Race Engineering business. It was built for the Street Eliminator race series and we are assured that it is fully road legal.
This car has run at 8.80 at Santa Pod mainly on its back wheels.
Discreetly finished in matt black, this evil-looking Camaro is not for the faint hearted. Once freshly MOT’d it looks ready to quite possibly blow your socks off. We envy the lucky buyer.

Summary
It seems unlikely that Chevrolet ever quite conceived that one of its Z28s would turn out like this. But we’re very glad that what Chevy failed to see, we very much can.
This is a remarkable machine, one that really can be driven to the track, raced, and then driven home. Its transformation was carefully curated by one of drag racing’s best and it presents in very good condition. A one-off opportunity, this is surely one enthusiasts will not want to miss.
