The Mercedes-Benz R107 SL is the perfect do-it-all classic. With a range of engine options to
suit every customer, weather equipment for every occasion, timeless styling and enviable build quality, it’s no wonder they proved so popular in period. In the US, you could buy the 560 which was equipped with the biggest V8 engine ever fitted to the SL. These German muscle cars prove popular imports and that’s exactly what we have here.
This US-spec 560 SL has spent most of its life in California and is now offered for sale in the Netherlands. Complete with both its roofs as well its original service documentation, this looks a nice example and we’re sure its next owner will be very pleased to call it their own.
