Land Rover Bowler Tomcat 100 V8
This is a Bowler Tomcat 100 built by Drew Bowler on a Range Rover Chassis, one of the very first built.
The engine is a 4. 0L V8 with rolling road print out of 190hp.
The gearbox is an uprated R380 Box with recent new clutch.
The entire vehicle was rebuilt last year at great expense including all axles etc.
The vehicle has an OMEX limiter and Terratrip Computer with inbuilt intercom and passenger controls.
The vehicle is sitting on nearly new Bowler lightweight racing wheels tread with Cooper off road tyres, they have done around 400 miles. In addition, there are two spare Mach 5 wheels tread with BFG All terrain.
The shocks are Ohlin remote reservoir shock absorbers which are the best of the best.
It has the usual HD front axle with pegged diffs front and rear, the rear axle has been converted to Panhard Rod.
It is also fully polybushed.
It has a rear mounted radiator with twin fans and a long range fuel tank which is also new mounted in the rear.
It has a split charge system with twin drycell batteries.
There are two nearly new genuine Bowler seats which are amazingly comfortable and are fitted with 5 point harnesses (are just out of date for racing).
The engine runs beautifully with 60lbs of oil pressure and is quite loud and really revvy, this is a very fast capable light car.
The vehicle has recently completed a few thousand mile trip of Africa where it performed faultlessly.
If you have got this far you know what you are looking at and this is a properly built car and not an amateur thrown together in a garage car.
Car has just flown through an MOT but as of next year is MOT exempt!
This is very very capable and drives absolutely amazingly, reluctantly for sale due to house purchase.
