Wonderful Series 3 109 Safari. Built in 1984. a mechanically sound example Brand new MOT proves that. Fitted with a 200tdi unit so will easily keep up with modern traffic and will actually go faster if you are brave enough. standard 4 speed gearbox but benefits from a Santana Overdrive, a far better unit than the Fairey and superwinch ones, it’s self worth £700.
Features, H4 headlights so you can see in the dark. Original cloth trim, good headlining apart from two little tears, easy fix. All body panels and roof are very good, the doors and window channels need attention, 2 brand new front doors are supplied. Chassis is good having had a new outrigger fitted for the MOT, the bulkhead is sound in the right places, but will need a top repair panel around the vents. The only advisory was the rear Cross member, but passed as there is no tow bar, A brand new rear cross member is also supplied. Has a cubby box with Sony stereo.
