Owned by me for the past 27 years, electric starter has never worked, this has not been a problem as it fires-up quite easily with the kick-start.
Double Over Head Cam twin cylinder engine, twin leading shoe front brake, Hagon rear shocks, new Yuasa battery just fitted, make this a very usable classic and a great investment opportunity for the future.
New cam chain installed by Honda Dealer at 10, 138 miles. Last oil change 12, 000 miles.
Silencers have been welded and chrome on them is showing signs of age, but they do give the bike a throaty roar and are still very usable.
Some small blemishes and flaking paint on body which could be touched-up to make a real show winner. The petrol tank is very good.
One broken cooling fin on cylinder head (see picture 5) and a couple more on cylinder barrel (see picture 6) is all part of the history of this 52 year old machine.
Four speed bike, but gearing has been improved with a one tooth larger front drive sprocket which results in a higher top speed to make life more comfortable in modern traffic.
Most years during my ownership it has been Taxed and Tested and I have numerous past MOT certificates, some years only travelling to my local MOT station and back.
