motodrome are pleased to offer this really special Left Hand Drive 2006/ 56 Land Rover Defender 90 TD5 XS Station Wagon ‘Black Edition’ finished in Java Black with tan full leather trim.
This is a genuine one private owner from new example. He bought it new in Switzerland in 2006 and registered it in the UK in 2009. It’s a Swiss market ‘Black Edition’ (number 8 of 40 produced) which is basically the same as the UK XS station wagon spec (aircon, ABS, ETC, heated seats etc etc) but with the addition of full leather seats (Land Rover embossed to the front).
Unlike many modern Defenders who’s off-road action goes no further than crossing a high kerb, this one has been there, seen it, and done it. Among other adverntures, it’s been to the Great Sand Sea in Tunisia, to Romania, and twice to the North Cape in winter. It was purchased new with the express purpose of overlanding, and has been prepared as such. Read on for the full spec.
Odometer reading 53000m (known incorrect as it was fitted with a new MPH speedo when bought to the UK in 2009 – true mileage is just under 80000m we believe) supported by history including 10 stamps in the original service book, bills and old MOT’s. In 2013 it underwent ‘Before N After’ waxoyling.
