1953 Matchless G80 500 cc Single presented in excellent condition . I have little in the way of paper work upon this lovely "Jampot" single but I and told and can see its been very well cared for . The front and rear rims are excellent and are fitted with excellent tyres . The paint works is very , very good and the seat undamaged . One stab of the kick start and the cylinder 500 cc motor busts into life so the mag is strong , No smoke or apparent rattles are noted . I rode the G80 12 miles and I must say its very pleasant , excellent ride , clutch , gears and brakes . Just a lovely old single . We serviced the G80 2 months ago prior to purchasing the bike , A new battery was fitted , A New plug and the oil was changed to Classic 20/ 50 . A none return oil tap is also fitted to stop any sumping occurring . You see a few 350, s but few 500, s . Great AMC bike . V5C supplied and some expired MOT certificates . The odometer reading to date is 4, 587 which I am told is the total mileage covered since restoration . Delivery arranged
