I have here an unbelivably rare second generation mz20 Toyota soarer 3. 0 gt limited
The last time I checked this was one of only 6 in the uk and the other 5 are 2. 0 and 3 of them are drift cars
This one is the 7mgte 3. 0 turbo straight six the same engine as the a70 supra
I've owned this car for a few years and I've loved every minute of it I own a pile of classic cars and nothing turns heads like this one and nobody ever knows what it is
This one was imported in 1999 and then was used as a cycle support vehicle all over Europe and it has done a lands end to John o groats tour and from east coast to west across the USA so it's very reliable.
I have moted this twice and it has only needed wipers and always gets comments as to how nice it is underneath. It is currently out of mot but I will get it with a new ticket prior to the sale.
The 7mgte engine is common for head gaskets ( this one was gone when I bought it )
I fitted it with a replacement engine from a late supra and they have a stronger head meaning it can be tourqued down much harder ( it's very boring feel free to call if you want more info on it )
The engine is running perfect it sounds fantastic and is smooth as silk
It was fitted with a new cambelt, waterpump, thermostat, plugs, aux belt, and all fluids including transmission fluid and filter when I fitted the engine about 3 years ago but only around 1000 miles ago
I have only used it to go to shows it has exhibited at japfest a couple of times plus countless other shows
The spec on the car is incredible for a 1989 model with factory technics cd and audio system, digital dash, electric bolsters and lumbar support, TEMS suspension ( stiffens the shockers automatically when needed) automatic pollen filter, remote central locking, electric steering column, folding mirrors, electric Windows, cruise control, climate control, air conditioning, sport mode, overdrive etc etc tonnes of buttons everywhere
The gearbox is smooth as silk and doesn't slow the car at all it really flies and honestly I would want it as a manual it does everything else for you so it might as well shift gear too
It's all original aside from a stainless exhaust system and hks Filter with silicon intake hose
It still has its genuine soarer mats, wind deflectors, mudflaps, wheels with centre caps etc
The suspension is perfect as are the brakes everything works as it should it's a Toyota after all
The body work is good not a single rust spot or dent it is arrow straight all over the one side has been painted before and it doesn't match 100% and the spoiler needs doing, the entire lower half is perfect so only needs the upper half doing if your being fussy it still looks awesome
The interior is mostly excellent, the steering wheel is sun damaged a little and the brown flock dash is wearing a little but the leather seats, carpets, headliner etc are all very good
Excellent tyres with removable white wall trims
I can take a part ex on this but I'm looking to free up cash so no swaps
I really really don't want to let this go but I can't keep them all
