1999 Mitsubishi Evolution vi RS2 Kaufen Bei

Due to a change in circumstances I am putting my RS2 up for sale
It is in fantastic condition and a very rare car .
The mileage is 75700 but will go up slightly as I am still enjoying the car on sunny days

Thngs I have done in my ownership

4 new tyres Toyo proxes with 4 wheel alignment.
New oem radiator.
New air con radiator
2 oil and filter changes
Sony Bluetooth head unit fitted (I still have the original)
When I picked the car up after a few days I noticed a leak so the car went in and had the transfer box removed and an o ring seal replaced and the oil sump removed refitted and sealed .

All the above work was carried out by garage streamline .

Below is a brief history of the car and work carried out before I purchased it.

a 1999 Mitsubishi evo 6 RSII, rumoured to be only 1240 examples made total, thats LH/ RH drive making this a very rare car indeed. Most of the UK cars ( approximately 40 units) converted to RSX, sprint, Extreme.

This is a 2 owner car, I’m the 3rd with 73900k miles on the car when I bought it Talking to the last owner, when he bought it was in KPH so it’s lower than it shows and the condition of the car certainly reflects this 6 months MOT, two keys, Service book/ owners manual, Clifford alarm with two fobs.

For those that don't know, the RS2 is basically an RS so lightweight stiffer shell, quick rack, mechanical rear diff, front LSD, titanium turbo Etc but fitted with some GSR items like Brembos as standard, air con, alloys, English manual, electric windows/ mirrors, airbags, central locking, adjustable headlamps. basically your 9GT of the early cars.

Also the RS2 has a 17digit chassis number, rear fog as standard, making it easier to register in Europe. Warning labels in English along with the owners Manual.

A little bit about this cars history. Last owner since 2001, put into storage in 2006 recent recommissioning (2017) by the last owner and then further work by the person I bought it from (a well known member of the MLR)

New parts as follows;

-Front wheel bearings
-wheels refurbished with new oem centre caps.
-front lower arms
-rear lower arm Bush x2 outer
-front links
-fuel neck.
-exedy clutch kit
-crank seals
-crank and cam sensor gen mitsubishi
-new discs ( brembo) project MU pads all around
-new tyres
-rear links
-water pump
-diff oils
-underside refurbished/ treated in rustbullet with various nuts and bolts changed, looks very good, never welded.

Worked carried out by the person I bought it from.

-Complete Oem suspension, as New.
Eibach springs fitted ( new)

-Full head overhaul ( CPP prepared/ checked) oem parts used, oem head gasket set and gates 5 piece timing belt kit.

-New oem tensioner

-Engine bay is stunning. Several new OEM parts changed, various nuts/ bolts, timing cover, spark plug cover, Header tank, front air con pipe, bonnet lock etc etc.

-New HKS RS intake Kit
-Standard exhaust and cat again in fantastic condition. It has a Newish Blitz Nur back box as I believe evos must have at least an aftermarket intake and exhaust just to enhance the driving experience.

-Fully refurbished brake calipers ( new everything)
-Refurbished wheels/ new centre caps and decals

-Front end paint, rear bumper and sills due to stone chips as it was original paint, front bumper reinforcer and metal grilles all refurbished, and a new grille badge fitted. The rest of the paint is original, few minor marks here and there but acceptable with a car this age.

-Cavity wax ( built hamber dynax S50) injected into chassis rails and cavity’s, excellent product and with this done you can drive the car in all weathers knowing it’s protected.

As you can see from the above several thousands of pounds just been spent refreshing this car.

Exterior is in great shape good panel and the paint is smooth and glossy. Same goes for the interior, RS trim, and hardly showing signs of wear. A period correct ( and Ralliart option at the time) Kenwood Mask fitted, also new very nice Ralliart set of mats . Air con just been serviced. Everything works as it should inside!

Reg “R55 TWO” that complements the car nicely will be included in the sale.

This is a very clean original car, not been messed about with or crashed. The car drives as it should no noises, everything’s works there’s nothing for the new owner to do apart from drive and enjoy.

Rare opportunity for someone to buy one of these extremely rare cars in an unmolested state that's not rusting away and that will only appreciate in years to come.
