1949 Morris Minor Series MM Tourer - The earliest survivor in the UK
Presented in exceptional condition and to correct specification throughout, this superb MM Tourer has been confirmed by the MMOC as being the 2nd earliest known survivor in the UK. It was built in September 1949 and despatched to Morris Dealers - T H Nice & Co Limited, Ely, Cambridgeshire.
Finished in Romain Green, as original, with beige trim and matching hood, the car is very close to concours condition having been the subject of an exacting restoration.
More than just a mere motor car, the Morris Minor is a great British institution and a true icon and part of our landscape and national heritage.
On the road this charming Morris attracts much interest wherever it goes.
File of documentation includes a Heritage Sheet, lubrication chart, and maintenance schedule along with numberous bills and certificates. It has been a stable mate to a 1926 Morris Oxford and part of an interesting collection of British Motor Cars.
All five tyres have been recently renewed and the car has been serviced and is ready to enjoy.
This is a unique opportunity to own a true piece of British Motoring History!
NB please note the car has resided in Jersey for several years (hence the Jersey plates) but wll be reunited with its original Cambridgeshire number when it arrives at The Garage.
