DESCRIPTION
Resplendent in it’s wonderful burgundy paintwork, this low milage Series 3 XJ6 represents an increasingly rare find in immaculate condition.
With just 47, 000 documented miles and invoices for £7, 000 in the last year alone, this car has led a charmed life and it shows.
MECHANICAL
An invoice from 2016 shows £4, 500 being spent on servicing and refreshing common XJ6 idiosyncrasies. Everything from brakes, fuel system (including tank switch over valve) suspension, ignition, exhaust and electrical was dealt with. It’s obvious from the moment you move off in the car everything is just as it should be. Five new Bridgestone tyres and a very tidy detailed engine bay further show the care the car has been subjected to.
BODYWORK
The car has been completely resprayed to a very high standard in the past and presents exceptionally well with a deep lustre to the bodywork. The pepperpot wheels are immaculate having been recently refurbished and the chrome brightwork is very near perfect.
INTERIOR
The Doeskin leather over Barley carpets interior is a wonderful place to be. Magnificent condition in all areas and the epitome of comfort that Jaguar were famous for and far more comfortable than any modern car. The leather is soft and supple with no cracking. A new headlining has been fitted. The original Clarion radio is still fitted and sounds wonderful.
Comes with original owners pack and original tool kit.
In the absolute classic combination of Burgundy over Doeskin and in this condition we believe this to be the best Series 3 XJ6 currently available.
