Here i have for sale my much loved 1988 Mk2 Golf GTI 8v in blue . I have owned this car for the past 5 yeas having much joy out of it but now has come the time to move on and sell. In the time i have owned the car using it as a daily drive for the first 3 years i owned it has been very reliable and not missed a beat. I own and run a classic restoration business so i have alway service and maintained the car to the highest standard possible. The car is 30 years old but i would say it is in very good condition for its age. The paintwork is good with a few stone chips and scratch marks and some very minor rust bubbles on the back tailgate. Interior is in very good original condition with the drivers seat showing little to no signs of wear. Recently the car has been subject to oil and filter change, new cam belt and pulleys, new hydraulic cam lifters, new valve stem oil seals, new sunroof seal and also brand new toys proxy front tyres. I have also just given the car a full wax oil under body treatment. The car will come with a new 12 month MOT that i will organise for the new owner.
The car is pretty much standard spec apart from the wheels that i put on when i got the car which are 15" ronal bbs style. It is with much regret that i am selling this car as i know that the value of these such models are only going up. The car does come with a large file paperwork containing old MOT certificates as well as invoices for work carried out.
