Description
This is a genuine MGB GT V8, built in December 1975 and first registered on 1st January 1976. Still in its original colour of glacier white with the original V8 wheels, Webasto sunroof (fitted at the point of sale), overdrive and original interior. The car was restored in 1987, with all the usual body sections being replaced, including inner and outer sills, castle sections, wings etc. It was then re-sprayed. At that point, the car had covered 46, 000 miles, it has now only done around 53, 000. The car has had only three owners in its 43 year history, with the most recent owner having had the car for 37 of those years. The structure is still excellent, but the paintwork has some micro-blistering, hence the price. The car starts well and performs as it should, with good oil pressure and no over-heating. The overdrive works, and there was a full service and four brand new tyres around 200 miles ago. The interior of the car is good including headlining and door cards; the carpets are fairly recent. This is a really nice, comfortable old car, and if you don't mind a few blemishes in the paint, it is ready for use. Good history file, V5C.
