The car i opgraded by Mercedes USA to the bigger 2. 8 litre M130. 980 engine with 160 bhp.
The original 2. 2 litres engine was from new underpowered in the combination with automatic gearbox - therefore MB official offered an opgrade to this 2. 8 litres engine.
