this is believed to be the last tagora sx, the flagship top of range 2. 6 v6 model left in working condition in the uk. It has been subjected to a very comprehensive restoration, it was in a poor state when it came to us but has now been brought up to a very high standard both mechanically and cosmetically. All the brakes have been properly reconditioned by BigRed. new discs and pads, cupronickel brake and fuel lines throughout, A new clutch was fitted while the engine was out for the engine bay to be repainted in the original Beige metallic,
The interior is mostly original and in lovely condition.
To our surpise the sills and floors were in exceptionally good original condition, the rust had only attacked areas like the doors. After the original rusty doors were replaced by some rust free ones imported from southern france then the whole car was repainted in the original colour with new old stock exterior lamps fitted all round along with nos badges and grilles.
The original prv 2. 6L V6 is in very good order, it sounds magical breathing through the six factory fitted downdraught Weber's, very much like a porsche or ferrari from the same era.
We also found that Pilkington still had tooling to produce new windscreens, in the correct tint with top sunband as per original, it arrived in a very large crate, it was a very welcome addition to the restoration.
we have the original wheels that have been lightly restored and have had the new old stock TDX tyres that had collected up fitted, they are purely for show due to age of tyres and are included with car along with various other spares we have collected.
Has done zero miles since restoration was completed, now looking for its 'forever home', and to be enjoyed.
