Description
The A presents the Talbot-Lago T14 LS
The Talbot-Lago T14 LS embodies one of the final great expressions of prestigious French motoring.
Introduced in 1955, this coupé with styling penned by Carlo Delaisse, in collaboration with coachbuilder Letourneur & Marchand, extends the elegance of the legendary T26 Grand Sport, in more compact and decidedly sporting proportions. The fluidity of its silhouette, its long bonnet and the refinement of its details bear witness to an era when the motor car was conceived as a coachbuilding masterpiece.
Powered by a Talbot four-cylinder engine of 2, 491 cc producing 120 horsepower, paired with a Pont-à-Mousson four-speed manual gearbox, it combines mechanical character, distinction and the heritage of one of the most prestigious marques of its time.
Only 54 examples of the T14 LS were produced.
Precisely, 53 plus the prototype. Unique prototype 001 that The A had the pleasure of passing on in 2024 to a discerning enthusiast.
And how many remain today?
This extremely limited production run confers upon it a singular place in the history of collectable motoring.
The 1956 example offered by The A belongs to this exceptional series, a witness to the final creations of Talbot-Lago with its own engine, before the versions with BMW and then Simca powerplants.
Its beauty, its rarity of production and its historical significance make it a choice piece for a discerning collection: the ultimate opportunity to experience one of the last testaments to the art of French luxury motoring.
Same family since 1991.
