A Lovely Daimler 420 Sovereign. Previously Used As A Wedding Car.
Here is a 1967 Daimler Sovereign 420 automatic in Old English White. Previously used as a wedding car this car has benefited from a recent repaint. It has had 3 former keepers and comes with extensive history, original handbook and old photographs of it in action. Its counterpart is the Jaguar 420.
It has the famous straight six Jaguar engine used in so many Jaguars and Daimler over many years. This is the 4. 2 litre as used in the E-type, but with twin, rather than triple cars. Its starts and runs extremely well and pulls strongly and very smoothly through the 3-speed automatic gearbox right to the red line.
The walnut dash remains in good condition, and the dark blue leather seats have a nice patina and are free from splits in leather or stitching. Chrome work is good, and its a very tidy car alround that could be put into a similar use immediately. Being 1967 the car is MOT exempt and tax exempt and looks to be free of rust underneath or on the body.
Its well worth a look. Viewing is by appointment please. Call us on the details below
