1955 Morris Minor 'split screen' pickup

This very rare 'split-screen' pickup has been in a private collection since 2011, intentions were to restore to its former glory but sadly this hasn't happened yet....
All complete and ripe for restoration, you just can't find these early spit-screens.... comes with a un-repaired galvanised chassis as seen in the photos.
The pick-up starts and drives but is a full restoration project, this isn't a weekend project and would need a full nut/ bolt rebuild but has the making of a real gem.
Comes with current style v5 with only 4 previous keepers. Currently sat on standard Morris rims but does come with 3 correct commercial rims, hopefully the 4th turns up but can't promise.
We know these split-screen pick ups are very rare and word of mouth says there is less than 15 left. Any further info would be appreciated.
We would recommended coming and viewing the vehicle prior to making any bid so you know what work is going to be involved.
Vehicle is to be sold on a auction basis with a sensible reserve, there is no buy it now price. We feel any restoration project is only worth what someone is willing to pay.
