Just wow !
ClassicClassics are absolutely delighted to be able to offer this stunning 1963 MGB ROADSTER for sale. Finished in arguably one of the best colours of its time Iris Blue and sitting on period chrome wire wheels NWR293A certainly turns heads where ever she goes.
Originally built for the American market as a left hand drive model, this stunning roadster was imported back to the UK in 1989. In 1997 the car was subject to a rebuild by Horner and West, it is the original body shell and rebuilt with all original BMC parts except the grill. The engine and gearbox was also rebuilt at this time.
Sitting inside the car you immediately notice the attention to detail it has, with its chrome instrument binnacles, three spoke wire steering wheel and it’s as new black leather piped in blue. The car also benefits from new carpets to further enhance the appearance. All this is protected by a fully fitted Tonneau Cover when not in use. For the days when you are out and about in our unpredictable British summer, the car also has an as new folding soft top but furthermore also comes with a white fibreglass hard top.
Mechanically the car performs very well indeed with a rebuilt engine including a new lead free cylinder head fitted. Any components that needed replacing have been so, giving you peace of mind of any future issues. The MGB also has a full stainless steel exhaust system fitted. In June 2018 the gearbox was stripped and rebuilt and has done very little mileage since. Looking underneath the car it is as clean as on top, again proving this car has had a much loved and closeted life.
We have a huge history file with invoices dating back to 1997 up to present day and you can clearly see this MG has had a no expense spared life, in fact totalling over £18200 !
If you are looking for an outstanding early pull handle, big steering wheel MGB ROADSTER then look no further, you will not be disappointed.
