This is the only 6 wheel Austin 7 on the the road, an article was published in the Automobile Magazine in August 1989. If you google Austin 7 6 wheeler you will see pictures and info of this vehicle.
I Have owned this vehicle since 2012 and have taken it to many car shows locally. The engine runs well , new recon gearbox and clutch overhaul.
The design is by WDT Gairdner. Prototypes were made but never put into production. This was built by a Mr Peter Lowe. He used to work at Austins at Lonbridge and when he was an apprentice he remembers seeing one at the factory and was determined to build one when he retired. I Have fitted new Ash sides, new seats and changed the colour , it is now black and ivory. I don't think the milage is genuine.
