1976 Honda 400 four super sport, cafe racer.
This bike had a full nut and bolt rebuild in 2014. It has covered approximately 8000 miles since, dry miles apart from one trip to Wheels and waves rally in Biarritz in 2016.
New tyres, wheel bearings (front and rear), fork seals and oil were done in April this year.
I have owned it since 2012 and it has been a cafe racer since 2014.
The frame is uncut like most cafe racers. All the dials, switchgear and pretty much everything is original. The seat unit, exhausts and clip ons are the only alterations. It currently has a four into four straight through exhaust system which sounds fantastic. The paint was to replicate the Manx Nortons and at first glance it looks quite similar, but it doesn't leak or break down like a Norton.
The only reason it is for sale is that I have lost my sight in my left eye and I would like it to be used. It is an absolute pleasure to ride.
