1991 Rover Mini Cooper in bright red with a white roof. This is a very special and unique mini which was hand built by Bill Richards Racing from a new BMC Heritage body shell. Bill Richards Racing was commissioned to create a fast road, high quality mini. There was a large budget and it took Bill Richards team 9 months to build it. It was then featured in Mini World Magazine and was the front cover car. The mini was then enjoyed for 9 years and eventually sold to a friend who has owned it for the last 8 years, During this time it has been very well serviced and cared for and I have a complete history file to support this. This is a fast and very focused mini which will only suit someone who loves a well engineered car and the noise and driving focus it delivers. The engine is wonderful and was build by MED. It is a 1310 cc fast road, balanced engine with twin SU carburettors. It has a Jack Knight Developments straight cut, close ratio gearbox with a Cross Pin Diff. For those who are not familiar with a straight cut gearbox it is noisy which you will either love or hate! The brakes are made up of Metro Turbo front drilled brake discs with alloy KAD billet 4 pot calipers, braided hoses all around and an AP Racing master cylinder. It has height adjustable suspension, negative camber bottom arms, uprated tie bars, nylon bushes and adjustable GAZ shock absorbers. The interior has a 6 point Safety Devises roll cage, bucket seats, 4 seat belts to allow for rear passengers and is very clean and well installed with new Smiths gauges which all works perfectly. This wonderfully engineered car is a joy to drive and gives you full confidence in its build and ability when on the road. It has been over to Europe and is quiet happy on the motorway. I understand from the previous owner that it cost in the region of £22000 to have built 17 years ago.
