This 1969 Plymouth GTX with its Original 440 4 bbl performance engine hooked up its to its Chrysler TF727 transmission in the beautiful FE5 Red paint color with a black vinyl top. The car is completely original and complete, It's equipped with a very rare red exterior and red interior with bucket seats with headrests and a console shifter and loads of other factory extra cost options.

The 1969 Plymouth GTX was the only Plymouth B-body available with the 440-4bbl big-block, and more or less the deluxe version of its sister car the Plymouth Roadrunner. The Roadrunner, however, was only for sale back then with a 383 cui 4bbl engine and was a very plain and much cheaper model. The GTX was seen as a gentleman's muscle car and was equipped with more features and luxury than its sister car. With the GTX being equipped with the 375HP 440 big block it was not only faster but also featured the better suspension, braking, and handling packages.

With their 1-year only grill and tail lights and tail light panel, special emblems and two-tone style black painted lower side panels and sleek coke bottle shaped body lines of the GTX, these cars were much more detailed than the roadrunner, and we feel the 1969 GTX is one of the best looking Plymouth's ever, and they're very hard to find, especially as original and correct as this one is. And be aware that it is the only B body Plymouth produced that was equipped with the 440 4bbl engine.

With the red interior, red exterior and black vinyl top with black details and its black/ chrome magnum wheels, this GTX is a rare find with an awesome look that will receive thumbs up everywhere you take it for sure. It's also equipped with all the options you could wish for in a GTX. The body and floors are all in very good and original condition, and the car is rust free inside and out.

The Plymouth GTX is a real collector car and a great investment to own. Especially the 1969 model as for many that is the most wanted and beautiful GTX ever build. Besides that, we will make sure this baby also drives and handles perfectly, so it can be enjoyed as well. In Europe, these cars are also a very rare sight indeed, so you won't come across another one like this for sure. And with only around 9000 cars ever build this automatic trans car is still pretty RARE, and only very few still carry their original options, color, and drive train, this baby is a great Mopar to own and enjoy.

And seeing this GTX has also opted with many special factory original, and it's also equipped with the RARE red interior, it might well be one of a few dozens? ever build like this one. It's equipped with one of the best engines muscle cars had to offer in the 60s and 70s, the famous and strong 440 cubic inches big block from Chrysler to tops things of. It's a true gentleman's muscle car. The car also comes with its Fender tag and all body Vin numbers still in place.

The car as you see it in the pictures was restored somewhere in the past. However, it's not up to our standards, and we feel that with mild restorations and some upgrades and detailing this car would turn out amazing. Seeing all original parts are still on the car and the body and floors are all in very good and original condition combined with the fact that the car numbers match, we feel this car just deserves this. We also consider giving the car a completely new paint. We included some sample pictures, so you can see how this great car might look when it is done.

The interior is also already in very nice restored condition and would just need's to be freshened up. All in all, this is just an amazing & very original car that is a perfect candidate to be upgraded with a mild restoration.

We, therefore, have plans to do these works on the car in the very near future or for its new future owner upon request. This can either be a mild restoration as stated above to have the car in show-driver quality, or we can also give it a complete rotisserie concourse restoration. Or if you want the car upgraded or build differently like a pro-touring style car or resto-mod, or say in a different color that's also possible.
