Lot 135 - A 1973 Honda CR250M Elsinore, unregistered, silver. Honda’s first two-stroke production motocrosser was announced in October 1972 with the bikes becoming available in March 1973. They were named after the famous Elsinore GP and featured an aluminium fuel tank, alloy rim 21 and 18 inch wheels, magnesium alloy engine side cases, plastic mudguards with the front having a distinctive rubber flap with raised CR lettering and rear shock absorbers with finned bodies. From the first year of production this well presented CR250M has formed part of a significant private collection. It features recently replaced shock absorbers, tyres and chain and would be eligible for many pre 75 AMCA and ACU events. Unregistered
