1985 FORD CAPRI 1. 6 LASER
Just arrived in part exchange is this lovely ’85 Ford Capri Laser. Showing 64k miles from new, comes with an MOT until June 2020. Excellent all round condition. Front wings have been replaced at some point so are completely rust free. Very solid and not rusty in the usual problem areas such as sills and front and rear arches. There is the old light mark here and there and a small scab on the bottom of the drivers door but overall its a very presentable car indeed and drives very well.
The interior is in great condition with no cracking to the dashboard whatsoever, there are two splits in the drivers seat which will require a trim shop to repair.
Tyres are relatively recent all round and there are no major mechanical faults that we are aware of.
We have just taken this in part exchange from the fourth owner who only bought it in February for £6750 - we have the invoice. He wanted a more practical vehicle so bought our Sierra XR4x4 - a proper Ford enthusiast.
We have a large amount of stock arriving this week so happy to sell this at our part exchange allowance of £4500.
HPI marker shows this car to be a category c owing to an insurance claim for some light historic panel damage.
