Unused since 1991, this UK supplied, Right Hand Drive Suffix F Range Rover is one of the most unmolested and original examples we have come across in recent years, and is now offered for sale with a current MOT but needing further improvement.
We have the chassis plate and V5 document which shows date of registration as March 1979, and only three previous registered keepers - the current registered keeper for the past 34 years. Now over 40 years old, she may qualify for road tax and MOT exemption within the UK.
The chassis is in remarkably good condition for its age. The bodyshell has been well preserved due to liberal Ziebarting and would be further helped by a new underseal treatment. The outer bodywork would be greatly improved by the fitment of four new outer wing panels and a lower half re-paint. Here at Famous Four we can supply all parts required for such a project.
One of the best colours in original White, with super orginal Herringbone Cloth interior, in remarkable condition for the age. The period correct Webasto sunroof and corresponding headlining are possibly the best preserved we have ever seen. The back seat has a cover which appears to have been there from new.

Showing a mileage of circa 75000 which, although cannot be verified with any supporting documentation, could certainly be accurate when considering the overall originality of the car.
We uncovered this Classic from dry storage in Yorkshire over the New Year, and subsequently, when time has allowed, have carried out some re-commissioning work including (but not limited to) the fitment of new exhaust system, brake pipes and 3 piece clutch assembly, so that it now has a valid MOT certificate. As she has been off the road since 1991 we feel further work is required to bring this old girl back to her former glory and to ensure she is fully ready for the road, but if you are seeking a worthwhile vehicle on which to undertake a full and detailed project, or to use now and improve gradually over time, this one has the potential to be a beauty due to it's incredibly original and unmolested state of preservation.
