This motorcycle was built as part of a Home Office contract during September 1960 and was despatched from the factory, to the Home Office, on 28th September 1960.
It was first registered to the Secretary of State on 24th October 1960 and was later issued to Hampshire Fire Brigade.
The motorcycle was sold at a Ministry of Supply vehicle auction at Ruddington on 27th June 1969, after the Auxiliary Fire Service was stood down in 1968.
Fully restored and rides very well. Starts first or second kick sounds great and smooth gearbox. wheels have been fully rebuilt by central wheels.
The paintwork is stunning and will grace any collection , an ideal show bike with a difference with brass fire extinguisher and panniers ideal for stove, kettle milk and sandwiches .
Once again a lovely bike nicely restored and has been used since so no gremlins to sort out.
